NIDO – THE ESSENCE OF BAREFOOT

All the experience now at the basis of Tikki Shoes and your much-appreciated suggestions, those of the barefoot community,  have led to Nido – meaning “nest” in Italian. Due to the new features, Nido are probably the most barefoot sandals we could have created.

Their soles are perfectly flexible, and just 2 (two!) mm thick. Inside, a 0.8 mm textile insole has replaced the old leather one, preventing foot sliding and excessive sweat.

The anatomical shape of the new Nido offers ideal toe space, especially for the big toes. 

Two newly-designed small leather add-ons keep Nido’s heel in its original shape and make putting them on much easier.

The new Nido barefoot kids’ sandals are multi-purpose, wearable at home, kindergarten, or indoor play spaces, as well as outdoors in the summer.  They can be easily cleaned with a wet wipe or special leather care products.
